We at the Melbourne Textile Wet processing Plant are conscious of our responsibilities as a textile manufacturer to preserve the delicate balance between man and the environment, for which, we have implemented strict procedural policies at all our manufacturing facilities including:
- Analysis of the company production processes to increase energy saving and recycling.
- Control over backwater and solid wastes of the plant.
- Analysis of the incoming textile products to assess their potential environmental impact.
- Counting of dyes, chemical products and formulations; analysis of safety procedures: classification in terms of potential environmental impact.
- Definition of correct management procedures relating to the most critical activities from an environmental friendly view point: raw materials supply, chemical products and formulations, supplier qualification, control procedure on materials and products at their arrival and wastes and backwater control.
- Implementation of operating instructions relating to ISO 9001 / 2000 standards.
